  • Instructed thousands of individuals from different ages, abilities, cultures, and gender identities since 2003. 
  • Cast and Execute vision: to provide experiences that inspire a love of music,  reflect the heritage and traditions of student families in the curriculum, and experience a quality music education that reflects the FCPS, State, and National Standards.
  • Created and organized, with school administration, daily school functions for 700-900 students and 100+ staff annually, including: Master Schedule, After School Programs, Interview Committees, and School Community Events. 
  • Planned & Instructed 25-40 weekly classes of 20-30 students each, teaching 400-500 elementary students in weekly General Music and Chorus lessons. 
  • Collaborated with 8-10 area school music programs in annual multi-grade level district events to accomplish music performances and workshops, including: Choir Pyramid Performances, Choral Pyramid Workshops, All County Choral Festival, and Cherry Blossom Festival Performances.
  • Stewarded best practices as mentor and Staff Team Leader, observing faculty and staff in teaching capacities. 
  •  Expanded  elementary music program from 2-3 yearly concerts to 10-20 annual events and partnerships, including: virtual classes, online lessons, field trips, partnerships with local and national music organizations (Carnegie Hall, Fairfax Symphony Orchestra, Piano & More, Alexandria Harmonizers, etc.) holiday caroling nights, talent shows, music department merchandise, guest artists, many FREE opportunities for our Title 1 students, and more.

  • Planned and Coordinated all of the creative and musical arts elements for multiple weekly services including: Youth (Grades 5-12), Young Adults (ages 18-35), Sunday Worship (all ages), occasionally Kids Ministries (Grades 1-5), and College Ministries.
  • Integrated the separate ministries within the Worship Department by rotating the members of each music ministry to , offering visible and tangible unity within a large church.
